Migraines generally begin with a throbbing headache centered above or behind one eye, or at the back of the head, spreading to the side. Narrowing of vision (tunnel vision) is also common. Food and environmental allergies are frequently linked to migraines, as is liver dysfunction. Constipation, stress, menopause, and a lack of exercise should also be considered as possible causes.
Dietary Strategy:
Eliminate sugar, refined carbohydrates, caffeine, alcohol, red wine, sharp cheddar cheese, and foods containing molds.
